Paul Carlson

Paul Carlson is the founder of 4:8 Financial and brings over 25 years of experience in wealth management and financial consulting. After graduating from Canby High School, Paul then received his Bachelor's degree from George Fox College and continued his education at Portland State University earning his Master's Degree in Teaching. Paul uses that degree every day to help his clients understand the financial industry and guide them in making wise financial decisions.

Born and raised in Canby, Paul has deep roots in the community. He has enjoyed coaching youth sports, leading music at church, and serving on an array of boards. He has served on the Canby Area Chamber of Commerce board for 14 years and as president for 2 years. He has served on the City budget committee and the City Council, and he has thoroughly enjoyed giving back to the Canby community. In addition to serving in Rotary and Kiwanis, Paul has also volunteered as an emcee and auctioneer at many local charity events. In 2011, he helped start the Canby Dahlia Run, a half marathon and 10k supporting local charities that continues to this day under the Chamber of Commerce.

Paul and his wife, Stefani, have been married for over 26 years and currently attend Athey Creek Church, where Paul plays keyboard on the worship team. Their 2 children and cattle ranch just outside of town keep them all very busy and are blessed to call Canby their home.
